Press the gasket into the groove on the glazing bead and then reinstall the bead. A clean groove and a new seal ensure optimal sealing and protection against moisture and drafts.

Here is how to do it—step by step:

Remove the old glazing bead and the existing glazing tape.
Thoroughly clean the rebate of dust, dirt, and any debris.
Press the new glass tape into the groove on the glass channel.
Check that the tape lies flat and without wrinkles.
Reinstall the glass trim so that it fits snugly.
Check that everything is properly secured and fits snugly against the windowpane.
