0500, 5 m – gasket for steel frames, white

PRIMO universal gasket for steel frames, fits all standard steel frames with a groove of 9–11 mm. The gasket is used to replace older gaskets that have worn out and are no longer functional. A worn-out gasket is characterized by being leaky, hard, or brittle.

This gasket is easy to install. Make sure the surface is clean and dry so the gasket can be positioned properly. Its flexible design allows it to conform to the surface.

NOTE: During installation, the profiles must not be fully compressed, as the strips will otherwise lose their resilience, thereby reducing their sealing performance.

We recommend installing the gasket after painting the window frame. Be sure to follow the paint manufacturer’s drying time instructions.

Here is how:
1. Thoroughly clean and degrease the surface.

2. Measure and trim the gasket to the correct length.

3. Press the gasket firmly into the groove.

4. Check that the entire strip is seated evenly and snugly.
