Clamp sealing – model 0728, gray

PRIMO clamp sealing can be used when you want to renovate windows and doors manufactured before 1990, when this type of gaskets was typically used. The clamp sealing ensures a tight seal between the frame and the sash, improving the insulation of the door or window.

If the gasket in your existing windows or doors cannot be replaced, we recommend the universal gaskets, which can be used when other solutions are not feasible.

A properly installed sealing strip ensures a neat finish and a tight seal around doors and windows. The clamp sealing is easy to work with and is installed directly using a staple gun. It is important that the surface is clean and dry, and that the strip is positioned precisely so that it does not interfere with the function of the door or window.

Follow the steps below for a good, long-lasting result:

Clean the surface
Remove dirt and dust from the area where the strip will be installed so that it fits properly.
Measure the length
Use a measuring tape to determine the exact length you need.
Cut to size
Cut the trim to size with trim shears. Cut the corners at a 45° bevel. Position the strip correctly close to the surface, but without interfering with the door or window’s operation.
Secure the strip
Use a staple gun to secure the strip. Staple as needed, and make sure the trim is tight and straight. If the surface is uneven, it is a good idea to use more staples.
Finish with a check
Check that the strip fits snugly without blocking the opening/closing mechanism by closing the door or window.
