When installing this gasket, cut the profile at a 45-degree angle without cutting into the cord inside the gasket. Then install the strip in the corner and press it into the groove.

Most of our clinched gaskets also have a rigid backing, which makes installation significantly easier.

Please note that the gasket should not be fully compressed when the door or window is closed, as it will lose its flexibility over time and thus compromise its sealing ability.

Here is how:

Clean the surface.
Cut the profile at a 45-degree angle, taking care not to cut through the cord.
Install the gasket in the corner and press it into the groove.
