PRIMO’s soft skirting board has been developed as a flexible solution for other floor coverings that need to be extended partway up the wall. The skirting board ensures a neat and professional finish, whilst protecting the edges of the floor and covering any unevenness in the subfloor or wall.

The soft skirting board is easy to work with, even in corners and around pipes or uneven surfaces. It is particularly well-suited to soft flooring types where both functionality and finish are important.

The skirting board is usually fitted using adhesive and pressed firmly against the wall and floor covering. The flexible PVC makes it easy to fit the skirting board to walls and corners.

Step-by-step guide

Prepare the surface:
Ensure that both the wall and floor are clean, dry and free from dust and grease.
Measure and cut:
Cut the skirting board to the desired length using a craft knife or scissors. If necessary, cut the corners at an angle for a neat finish.
Apply adhesive:
Use a suitable contact adhesive or fixing adhesive on the back of the moulding and/or directly onto the wall.
Fit the skirting board:
Press the skirting board firmly into place so that it fits snugly against both the wall and the floor. If necessary, use a roller or a soft cloth to ensure good adhesion.
Finishing touches:
Wipe away any excess adhesive straight away.
