Gasket for steal frames – Model 0500

PRIMO universal gasket for steel frames, fits all standard steel frames with a groove depth of 9–11 mm.

The gasket is used to replace older gaskets that have become worn and no longer function properly. A worn-out weatherstrip is characterized by being leaky, hard, or brittle.

This gasket is easy to install. Make sure the surface is clean and dry so the weatherstripping can be positioned properly. Its flexible design allows it to conform to the surface.

NOTE: During installation, the profiles must not be fully compressed, as this will cause the strips to lose their elasticity and, as a result, reduce their sealing performance.

We recommend installing the gasket after painting the window frame. Be sure to follow the paint manufacturer’s drying time instructions.

Here is how:

Thoroughly clean and degrease the surface.
Measure and trim the seal to the correct length.
Press the gasket firmly into the groove.
Check that the entire gasket is flush and snug.
