EDGE MOULDINGS WITH AND WITHOUT SOFT LIP
An edge moulding is a smaller moulding that can be used for several purposes. With edge mouldings, it is easy to create frames that will look sharp and that are long-lasting. In addition, edge mouldings can be used for different types of joints or finishes e.g., on doors, windows, ceiling panels or cupboard solutions.
PRIMO's edge mouldings have a soft, flexible, and rounded design, which helps to increase the mouldings usability. The design means that the mouldings collect a minimum of dust, and they are also easy to clean. PRIMO front edge mouldings are available with and without a soft lip. The lip of the moulding has a smooth texture, allowing it to effortlessly create a perfect connection that looks like a flawless joint.
WALL MOULDINGS - A LIST FOR MANY PROJECTS
Wall mouldings, as the name implies, are often used for mounting on walls. But a wall moulding can be used for many purposes. They can be used, just like edge mouldings, as frames around windows and doors, as joints between two windows, or as a finishing strip for a ceiling panel. In addition, wall mouldings can be used for several DIY projects, such as dividing a wall - either vertically where the wall is split in two or as raised panels - 3 dimensional patterns, often squares, on the wall.
PRIMO wall mouldings are flexible and can easily follow the unevenness of the wall. With a heat gun, you can gently soften the mouldings so they can also be bent around a column - read how here.
The wall mouldings are available in different sizes, with or without self-adhesive, and with cable and wiring concealment.
EDGE AND WALL MOULDINGS - EASY INSTALLATION AND MANY ADVANTAGES
PRIMO's wall mouldings and edge mouldings are both made of solid white plastic and are delivered ready to install. The mouldings do not need to be painted or refinished as they do not fade or rot. However, it is possible to paint the mouldings if you want them in a colour other than white.
Mouldings can be installed in different ways. They can be nailed or screwed in place without cracking or splitting during installation. In addition, they can be glued on with alcohol-based silicone or mounting adhesive, which provides a nice and invisible installation. Once fitted, the mouldings are easy to maintain, just requiring a general wet wipe from time to time.
PRIMO wall mouldings make it easy for you to add an elegant finishing touch to your project. For example, you can use wall mouldings as coverings for window and door edges, to connect two windows, or as a finish for an attic trap door – the possibilities are endless.
Choose from a wide range of sizes. You can also choose wall mouldings with rubber edges.
The wall mouldings are highly flexible and follow any unevenness in walls smoothly. Use a heat gun to carefully bend the mouldings, for example to fit a pillar. These mouldings never need painting or other treatment, as they won’t fade or rot – and they’re easy to clean with a damp cloth. If you want another colour, it’s easy to paint PRIMO wall mouldings with acrylic or enamel paint.
