USAGE
If you want to reduce your energy consumption and your heating bill – new seals are the easy way to go.
The quality of your sealing gaskets in your windows and doors has a major impact on the insulation of your home.
If your existing sealing gaskets are worn or of poor quality, a replacement with a PRIMO sealing gasket is recommended. PRIMO sealing gasket are resistant and long-lasting. In the range you will find a wide variety of products that cater to every purpose.
The sealing gaskets are mostly manufactured in TPE, which is a non-PVC material that is well chosen for outdoor installation. TPE has a long durability – without any loss of performance.
MOUNTING
When installing soffit panel gasket clamp profiles, the profile is cut at 45 degrees.
You may use our trim shears for this purpose – you can find them under accessories for gasket clamp profiles.
Then, the moulding is installed in the corner and pressed into the groove.
Most of our clinching gasket clamp profiles also have a hard back that significantly simplifies installation.
Be aware that the seals are not completely pressed together when the door or window is closed as over time, they will lose their flexibility and thus impair sealability.
